In preparation of my 4-month world trip through South-East Asia, Japan and Oceania, I built World Trip: a unique, visual travel blog focusing on my current and past locations, much like
Polarsteps. We were able to share 26 blogs of our unforgettable experience, composed on-the-go on our smartphones using Kirby CMS.
World Trip started as an idea when I was finishing my
Master Thesis, but grew bigger and bigger the more that I thought about it and researched other travel blogs. It definitely had it shortcomings (images didn't lazy load and Kirby's text editor was horrible to use), but it received very positive feedback from friends and family.
